LS1 swapped Camaro in a beautiful deep red. Too bad it’s 900 miles away and the current price is $1000 over budget (14k reserve notwithstanding)

Wow, that looks well done.
What region are you in? Camaro’s are all over the place here in Metro Detroit

Don’t tease me like that! I really want to build a third gen Camaro very similar to this one. But I want a hard top... T-tops are totally sweet for cruising but they give up a loooot of chassis rigidity.
Anyways, clean looking swap but you’re right, I think it’s a little pricey.

Seems a little pricey to me but I haven’t been following this market really. Agree with the red, looks so good.

I’m in MA. Every Camaro for sale within 200 miles of me has either been painted flat black or converted to carbs. Or has no engine.

That car was done by Hawk’s.
Probably worth every penny.

Well, it’s an Auto, but most importantly, I’m not sure you have enough hair to drive that car.

Subframe connectors are basically a required mod anyway. Even on a hardtop they will kill a lot of rattles and squeaks.

“Reserve is set at 14,500"
Hahahahahaha! I love it, but that price is insane.

I have my E39 if I want chassis rigidity.

yikes man
Sounds like it’s road trip time!

One can dream that it’ll go for the current $5100

Now that would be amaze-balls!

The only cars I really want all seem to be ones that are impossible to find good examples of.

Auto kills it. Also, my wife would kill me. But if it was a T56, it’d be worth it.

That is a true statement. I’ve researched these quite a bit and know exactly what I want. First I gotta buy a house so I have a place to work on it.

Good point. But I do not have an E39, hence my want of a hardtop Camaro.

The only cars I really want all seem to be ones that are impossible to find good examples of in your area .
I could find you 100 Camaros in your budget in good condition out here.
Not quite as pretty but cheaper and faster: http://detroit.craigslist.org/mcb/cto/546935…

I would love an LS swapped 3rd gen, I had an 89 for a while that was pretty worn out, but I loved it. That 305 though, what a miserable lump.
